Four Do's and Don'ts for Wearing New Denim Shorts

1.DO choose many shades and cuts
There is your common midnight blue, denim blue, black gray, pastel shades, straight cut, ripped, on the knee, below the knee, above the knee.. I really could go on and on with regard to the various denim shorts on the market at the moment. If you would like the basics, find a black pair and a typical denim blue pair. Because of the affordability, I don't see the reasons you shouldn't embark to more experimental colours and designs. The denim short isn't going anywhere in the near future.
2.DON'T be satisfied with just simply any old pair
If you do, then might as well allow your mommy dress you up. There's an abundance of this specific trend, and that's why you need to perform your research on which brand names suit your wants. If you're planning to hit the skate park or the beach, don't acquire a pair of denim shorts from a preppy store. Choose a familiar manufacturer, like Volcom. Yes, that is right. The skate label does contain a unique range of denim shorts and it's made for the chosen lifestyle you live - skate, surf and sand.
3.DO try things out
Denim shorts happen to be extremely versatile thanks to its main material - use that to your advantage. Today, be preppy, tomorrow be a hippie. The possibilities of pairing and matching with denim shorts are never-ending due to its nature to be far more of the canvas compared to the paint.
4.DON'T be put-off by what others think
There was a time when one of the donning denim shorts was really a fashion faux pas reserved for Harley Davidson owners or weird old guys in Hawaiian print shirts. This was years ago, much before creative designers opened their minds to the possibilities of the piece.
