Why Denim Will Never Go Away

Look in your closet. Chances are very high that you have a pair of jeans in there, and you probably have more than one. If you are a woman, you may even have a denim skirt, or a denim dress, and both men and women sport jean jackets. Not only do you most likely have jeans now, but you probably always have had them and will in the future. Fashions styles change, but a needing a good pair of jeans is something that will never go out of fashion.
The popularity of denim with women stems from the fact that there are so many different ways to wear it. Skinny jeans made a come back in the last few years, and there is always the reliable straight leg. Wide leg, boot leg, and a capri length and even bell bottoms serve a purpose in women's fashion. Women like they way they look in jeans, and they like how they can dress them up or dress them down depend ending on the occasion. Jeans are flattering and comfortable, and unless an event is very formal, they are appropriate to wear. Throw on a structured jacket and a blouse, pair it with your favorite skinny jeans and some booties, and you could be dressed up enough for most restaurants or shows.
Fashion styles and trends change with the passing of the season, but denim is a fabric that is as ubiquitous as cotton. As long as men and women are comfortable in it, like the way they look in it, and can afford it, denim will remain a fabric that people can rely on.
