•Choose clothes that flatter you: your outfit should always be a good fit, neat clean with a crisp appearance. It only takes grubby cuffs and collars or scuffed unpolished shoes to destroy the whole entity of your look.
•Have your clothes prepared well in advance for going out. Last minute rushing will see more accidents happen like smudging lipstick or possible tears in your fishnet stockings. Not having a last minute wardrobe panic will save you valuable time.
•Have accessories and jewelry easily to hand to save more time - for example, a watch, necklace, ribbon or belt.
•Don't go over the top (for example, avoid wearing all tiger print.)
•Whatever you do be natural – the fake look is not good.
•Be unique in your own personal way. If you have a weakness for leopard/tiger prints then keep it low key to a headband, belt or other. Try interesting combinations like wearing a striped or polka dot dress over jeans or, shorts with tights. Depending on you and your taste the tights can be plain or brashly patterned.
•Every girlie closet should have a few pairs of jeans; a dressy pair, a casual pair, an 'outdoors' pair. Jeans are the be all and end all of getting you out of dressy situations. Any type style of top will go with jeans. Upgrade the attire by swapping flats with a heel shoe and add a belt and watch the difference.
•Mix 'n' match from previous seasons. Winter colors from last year will go with this spring seasons bright vibrant ones.
•You can rely on black trousers and denim jeans not letting you down for those last minute emergencies.
•Check thrift stores and discount outlets, style shouldn't be costly.
•Black and slate grey are colors that are easily matched. Dark doesn`t have to be drab and dreary. Spice them up with bright spring pinks, greens, lemons and orange.
•Think about quality before quantity, sometimes it`s better to have one quality outfit than two, which you might only get a couple of wears out of before it falls apart.
